Doctor Who and the Sontaran Stratagem
What is up with that bloody Medusa Cascade?
The references to this arc are getting frustratingly repetitive, especially in this episode where a classic series reference would’ve been much better placed.
Anyway, putting Martha and Donna in one episode reminds up how much we miss Rose. No-one will ever live up to her standard. Oh well.

Hear, hear. If they’re going to foreshadow something so continuously, they’ve got to follow it through at the same speed – now it’s just getting irritating.
Gosh, I’m looking forward to Rose coming back.

I get the feeling that when the doctor mentions taking donna to the medusa cascade in a later episode we may see that, and we will find out more about the time war, and maybe even a clue to the doctors real name, as mentioned in previous episodes his name is lost in the heart of the medusa cascade itself

The Medusa Cascade might have been referenced in the Dalek Master Plan Episode 2. They talk of the rift at the Gorgon Star – an energy source they couldn’t exploit without knowing timelord secrets.

Regarding the constellation (in real life): Perseus himself is shown holding the Gorgon’s head. The star that Ptolemy called ‘the bright one in the Gorgon head’ is Beta Persei.
