With New Who it’s all about the speculation. Bad Wolf in series 1 opened the floodgates, and it’s a shame that series 3’s theme of Saxon/Master was so obvious and so widely trailed. It’s good to see this year that whatever Rose is up to and why she’s back is so heavily guarded and teased.

I think the reason that Rose didn’t look too sad was that she knew that she could “save him” by making Donna turn left. Plus when she told Donna that she was going to die, she didn’t she just “woke” up again on the New China planet. Is this warning us that Donna is going to die, isn’t it about time a companion died? They’ve talked Donna up a lot this episode, she’s special emits those readings UNIT were picking up!
Looking forward to next week bringing everyone together Torchwood etc will be grand.
